Arcadia OmniGold for Veiled Chameleons?

A trusted local store recently started carrying Arcadia products, and brought up the possibility of feeding OmniGold to my female as a treat. Feeder options can be somewhat limited where I am (British Columbia, Canada), and I'm always looking to add more variety. I brought a bag home to try, and the feeding response was excellent! I just made it up according to the directions, and then rolled it up into little balls to handfeed. My thought right now is to add it to her weekly feeder rotation as a treat amounting to no more than ~15% of her total diet. Worst case, I can always feed it to the bugs!

Does anyone have experience feeding Arcadia OmniGold to veiled chameleons? How often do you include it in their diet, and in what amounts? I can't find any really clear instructions, and thought I'd ask here while I wait for a response from Arcadia!

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the matter!

How does the ball of food move? The cham wants to hunt. I guess you could stick some crickets in the outside of the ball.

Kismet handfeeds very readily, so I just held it up between my thumb and forefinger and wiggled until she shot at it. She'll try anything as long as I'm holding it!
