Upon inspection of my new veiled it appears to be a she. No spurs on the back legs, which I'm pretty sure are there from birth. I didn't prepare for a female but I really don't feel like trading her back for another. Although she's only a few weeks old I want to make sure I have a proper egg bin so she doesn't die when the time comes for infertile laying. I have a 6x8x4" plastic bin filled with organic soil and sand. Will this suffice? It says on the resources here to have a larger bin but I don't see how anyone could fit one so big with plants in the middle.
