Housing: large plastic tub, vented lid, egg trays. You also need to keep the temps at 85-90 (90 best for breeding). Alot of people use heating pads. A single female can lay between 25-40young a month.
Feeding/Gutloading: Pretty much same as crickets but they need high protein also (Cat/Dog food). Before you feed them off I would suggest at least 2days of gut loading to make sure they don't still have the cat/dog food in there system.
When you start your colony, just set them up. The darker the place, the better. After a couple of months you'll want to clean out the colony. Basically seperating the babies and adults into different tubs. This way when you want feeders, you won't disturb the breeding colony.
orange heads and orange spotted are not the same roach.
Care is pretty similar though. The orange heads are a bit more prone to chew each other's wings and have a bit stronger defensive odor. I found them to be not quite as hardy as the orange spotteds as well.
