Anything for this?

So i live in a townhouse and depensing on summer/winter, day/night my temp swings from 60-75degrees and fast depending on if the ac or heat are on. Is there something i can get that would automatically adjust my basking light to change it's output based on the cage temp? Like an automatic dimmer?

Also was wondering if there was anything like an aquarium controller out there that would alert your phone to any humidity/temperature problems? Not sure if that'd be overkill, i just go away a couple times a year, for a week or so, and it'd make me feel better knowing everythings alright. Investing a lot into this cham, would hate for anything to happen. People check on the house still just not all day and i don't trust my houses temp swings lol.

Actually I don't think you need to worry as much about temp swings of that magnitude. If your cage is large enough to provide a gradient of temps and humidity levels (which is what we strive for) and you have a lot of live foliage to help buffer the change, your cham can move itself as it needs to when the temp changes. They are not as sensitive to temp change as, for example, birds would be. Quick short term change happens all the time in the wild, especially in trees where they normally live. If you do plan on being away the bigger issue will be avoiding dehydration, so you'll want to invest in some sort of auto misting system controlled by a timer.

Oh cool thanks! See i heard mixed things, something i read said they can't tell easily if they're burning their backs. I was worried if the basking spot got too warm that could happen. As for the mister I have the mistking already. Throughout the day my house will go from being chilly to pretty warm and that was a big concern of mine.

What type of cage do have? Screen or glass? As long as the basking branch is the appropriate distance away it should be okay, and he should be able to tell his body heat

My temporary cage is all screen, 36hx18x18 i think. It's ready to go, i'm actually thinking of getting my first cham this week, been looking for the right guy. I have my large atrium dragon strand that he will be moved into once he's larger.
