anyone with Red Tegus?

I was just curious if anyone else has a red tegu or a few of them. I haven't seen any lately at the reptile shows. So I'm just wondering if they have become less sought after or are just becoming more rare in the reptile trade. I got mine about 3 years ago from a guy I know who owns a wholesale reptile shop, but since then I've only seen a couple other than on the internet.

i used to have a Black n white tegu, but it got too big, and i gave it too the new orleans zoo. i havent seen red tegus for a while. i think they are harder to get WC.

Yeah , That guy is crazy, I've seen him, he is freaking huge.

I was in The Underground reptile store the other day and this lady walked in with this HUGE red tegu. I think she was the wife of one of the clerks. Anyway, she just came in, put him on the floor and he sauntered off, probably looking for escaped bugs if they eat bugs.

i have the same prob with herp as you do katt. someone talks about a reptile, or i see one then do a lot of reasearch, price it, then wait a few weeks planning the whole operation out, then ask my mom or dad. and boom, i cant get it. im pretty sure you dont have to ask your parents or are OCD as me.
