I’m pretty sure you can just find branches from trees outdoors and clean them for your enclosure.

You can just about use anything... Avoid cedar, pine, and eucalyptus though.

I live in the PNW and I mainly stick with oak, although they are sometimes hard to find where I am at.

I have been using Oak too. I'm in Northern California and Oak is everywhere. I snagged good branches from my neighbor's tree. It was in my yard anyway.

I use live oak branches that I get when I trim the trees. I think they last longer when their green and age slowly. My last branches are 2 years old.
