Congrats on making it to the doctrate program! On another note, I hate to say this, but your chameleon's is cage is WAY too small for that guy!! the suggested size is 24 X 24 X48 or larger. The bigger the better! He looks so cramped in there. He has no where to be up high. I would also get rid of those glass like rocks and get some large river ricks. Those size rocks are injestable. What kind of lighting are you using?????? He needs some more foilage also! That cage is more for a young juvenile or baby. Sorry!
I'm a vet student at A&M! In my LAST year finally and loving it! It's also why you don't see me on here much as of late...the rotation I'm on now is at the hospital ready to go by 6am, working lunch and I've been leaving the hospital around 8pm. Haven't even seen any of my chams lately. 
But I'm half done with this rotation and my next one is not so bad.
Just for the record (because some people do get offended by it) it's a "Doctor of Veterinary Medicine", not a "doctorate". A doctorate means you have done the research and work to get a PhD, whereas doctor means you're licensed to practice medicine, and they're not interchangeable. I did not know the difference until I said it wrong and got a lecture from a PhD doc...
Anyway, let me know if you have any questions about the program or admissions or anything like that! I'll be happy to answer whatever I can.

I checked this thread for a couple days then gave up on it... bad idea on my part!
Thanks everyone! I haven't applied yet, I already have BS and BA degrees, but neither in science- so i have some catching up to do. I have a schedule planned out so I should be entering the program in the Fall of 2013. I know its a long way away but I have a good job now, i need to save up, and like i said i have some catching up to do.

Carol, et al - I know the viv is small. the guy grew so fast! he's about 6 months old now. I move on Sunday and am plannign to buy a new cage for him next week. Also, there are usually three plants in there, croton, scheffelera and dracenea- it has a lot more hiding/crawling area. there should be some other pictures through my profile page. As far as lighting goes: I have reptisun 10.0 compact UVB bulb on top and another bulb a couple inches above the tank for heat. no need for apologies! I appreciate the feedback, keep it coming.
