I would talk to Nathan aka Drywater
I've talked to him quite a few times at SBCK, and he has the reputation for being quite the daredevil. I know he has hours logged skydiving and really knows what is up.
Good luck, I would do it, but it costs a lot of money, and chickening out isn't an option at that price!

Howdy Brian,
Let's see....
The first time I jumped, the girl who went out the door after me broke her leg...
Then next time I jumped, my buddy got tangled in his own lines and landed on his head. He was super-sore but no permanent damage...
Another friend did a tandem jump with a jumpmaster. Luckily, their reserve parachute opened...
On my last jump, I just narrowly missed a barbed-wire fence...
I decided to quit while I was still ahead.
100 million other jumpers had no problems

P.S. Why do they wear helmets?
Rather not get my adrenalin by leaping from a plane and plummeting toward the earth with my butt cheeks tightly clenched and the force of the wind morphing my face into popeye, praying they guy who packed my chute wasnt having a bad day!!
