Any other type of staple food...?

I use silks as my staple
They are more expensive, so is the food, but they dont smell, make noise, escape.
My Chams love them. I add horns, butters, calci, dubia's(when I get them from Suzi) an occasional super
anne

Tiff (Miss Lily) has a thread on silk moths, its on page 5 on the cham food section. Im sorry I cant cut/paste it to here, but its easy to find.

It might also be more in depth than my review, mine is very general. Take a look, someone else will post and be specific

Really.? Would those guys be easy to breed.?
Because I'd rather only feed the occasional cricket and little dubia (Before they get nasty looking) and start feeding more of the worms. I read camimom's post on hornworms, I'm going to start breeding those.
Are silks just as easy.?

I know several people do.
Start by buying eggs, you can keep them in the fridge, and take them out to grow as needed.
once they grow full size, they will coccoon, once they emerge, they breed right away I believe. The females are bigger/fatter, then they lay their eggs and the cycle repeats.

Someone, posted about this last week I think, with pics no less
Let me see if I can find it
