Any Clue What This Is?!?!

Bought some crickets from a local pet shop and recieved this verrry ugly, questionable, and down right nasty looking bug. Gives me the creeps, any clue what it is?

Doesn’t really look like a dermacide beetle larva to me, to big and not fuzzy, what do you think @jamest0o0?

Hmm, looking at pictures of a dermacide larvae id say it looks almost identical to it, however it doent have any hairs

Its a darkling beetle for cleaner crew. They come in a few adult sizes, the bigger the adult, the higher the odds of "hairy" larvae. Its worth a buck on ebay

That looks like a dermestid. Darkling/buffalo beetles look more like small mealworms. Lighting is kind of hard to tell though. Another reason I say dermestid, they're commonly kept with crickets because of their clean up efficiency. They can be voracious and attack things when not enough food is around so I don't use them personally.
