Any benefits to using 2 pro t5s

Hi guys, I was just wondering, is there any benefits to running 2 arcadia pro t5 6% instead of just 1? I have a large repti one enclosure and have a spare arcadia pro t5 sitting in the cupboard, so wondering if there is any added benefit to running 2 t5s

I think if your using it just for extra lighting it’s fine, if you intend for him to use for uvb make sure he has good exposure and the bulb is current. You wouldn’t want him trying to absorb uvb from it and it not being enough. But overall I think it’s ok.

Yeah so basically she is in a 4x4x2 enclosure, I already have a illuminize T5 running diagonally across the top of the enclosure and a jungle dawn also running diagonally, but I purchased a couple of the pro t5s at the same time as I purchased the jungle dawn and the luminize so just wondering if I would see any benefits for her by adding another uvb or would I just be wasting electricity

Ok so your enclosure is 4 foot wide, correct? Running a lumenize T5 UVB. If this is a 4 foot wide fixture then you would not need to add additional UVB fixtures. As long as the UVB is on point and basking branches are placed at the correct distances below then you are covered. Then if your jungle dawn is also 4 foot wide then again you would not need additional plant lighting.

So your plant lighting and your UVB is covered. The 2 additional ProT5 units are unnecessary.

What are your actual dimensions on the cage LxWxH? Because in the photo in your other thread it does not look like it is that large.
