Another spider!

At the weekend I ordered a sub adult male Regal jumping spider. Well, they guy accidentally sent a female, which I am so happy about! As soon as I saw her I fell in love. She's so pretty and very small, about half the size of Ethel. Now to think of a name!

Name it Itsy (how original) or Bitsy if you already have an Itsy!
The eyes make it so cute! Can't understand that people hate spiders!

OMG- when I saw her I thought it was really sweet considering you said the males were a bit leggier - but there you go-female- Dont tell Ethel but she is GORGEOUS! so sweet!

I don't think so. Ethel (my first who is wild caught) has laid an egg sac. It's likely to be fertile but we'll see. She rarely leaves the nest, she's a good Mummy!

So, he arrived at lunch time. He's more 'spidery than the girls but his chelicerae are gorgeous! As yet he doesn't have a name, but I'm working on that, lol!

I do prefer the females, I need some time to get used to him, he's more skittish than Bella and Ethel.
