Another Mali Uro question(or more :/)

Hello all!
I have a few questions about my mali. I bought him about five years ago, from a local reptile shop, and have always noticed something. His back isn't covered with yellow, it is faintly there, and it is getting less noticable as the time goes on. Also, he doesn't shed that much, I want to say he hasn't shed at all this year, and if he did, it was at the VERY beginning. But, from the last shed, there is still skin on his body, what should I do with it?
