I've been reading about some chams going on hunger strikes and I thought that I was fortunate and that Rambo isn't a picky eater. And boom it happened hes been on a hunger strike for 2 days now ha ha. Jinxed myself

Aww. I hate when they do that. My Jackson's went on a 4 day hunger strike recently.

Try not to worry about it too much (easier said than done!) My veiled will refuse food during a shed, or before a shed, or just because he wants to worry me! Then all of a sudden he's hungry like a bear & I'm left wondering what was going on lol One time I worked out it was because he didn't like his feeding cup, I don't think he liked the angle & couldn't get his tongue where he wanted.

Yeah im not really too discouraged that hes not eating ive been spoiling him with some hornworms and wax worms so of course crickets don't seem appealing lol and i changed his cage setup a little too so im sure hes a little upset about that too

I recently gave my cham waxworms and mealworms (i only feed mealies after they molt) and he went on a damn hunger strike lol...

He's picky with crickets now, even dubias. He's funny because he always goes to his little perch in the morning where i hand feed him and he'll sit there for hours till i give in LOL...

Now i got about 60 crickets and 20 dubias with a chameleon on strike.

ah, I gave Neelix morio worms & now he won't touch crickets at all! Fortunately he's a sucker for locusts, butterworms & silkies. Morios are now banned & I hate big crickets anyway lol
