My ambilobe chameleons left eye is closed like about a week.Whats wrong with him???? He is in a screen cage,I always spray them,I got reptisun for them but he still has a problem so whats wrong with him?

Is it an eye infection or he pooked his eye with something?

No one but a vet is going to be able to tell you exactly. I would go get him an appointment, because a week is a really long time to let something like this go unchecked.

I've never heard of pink eye in a chameleon. Did you take him to the vet?

Pink eye is conjuctivitus and it can be caused by certain spiral/compact, etc. lights or from bacteria or even a virus.

What brand and type (spiral, etc.) UVB light are you using?

He must of rub his eye somewhere then caught an infection

yeah and now i only need is only normal pink eye medicine to cure him.
