Amy Eating Carrot - Video!

Up until now, neither Amy or Tommy have showed any interest in eating fruit or veggies. I was preparing carrots for Sunday lunch and thought I'd try and offer them some. Tommy just looked at it as if to say 'Do you really expect me to eat THAT?' Amy looked at it for a while then she just shot her tongue at it and gobbled it up! I was totally surprised - I really didn't think she would try it! She ate 3 tiny bits in all and I captured her eating the last piece on video!

As cute as that is, I wouldn't be making a habit of it Lil, for some reason lizards can have a really hard time digesting carrot. If you must feed it, make them really fine shavings, and then little.
I hope carrot digestion hasnt got anything to do with the vent issue. Actually I wonder if the red isn't blood but a by-product of carrot? Slim hope perhaps but cant hurt to ask when you get a chance.

Nope the carrot hasn't got anything to do with the vent problem. I only just offered her carrot for the first time today. It wasn't big chunks of carrot either. I am paranoid about feeding anything too big!

Wow Tiff as usual you do thing my chams won't even talk about. I have tried several fruits but never had any interest by the chams. I love the video.

she probably thought it was a worm! thats how i trick my cham into eating delicious fruit. try some mango!
