I love this little guy so much. He is so alert and is so spunky! I wish that I could spend all day with this little guy . Once of these days he will want to climb onto my hand and not be afraid of me.

Lil Squirt is so cute...I wonder if he and Lil Louie will look alike when they get their colors. Will be intetesting to watch.

I wonder if they will look like little twins . I will keep posting pictures of Lil Squirt…lol…he’s still not used to me yet. Does Lil Louie stay a dark color or does he get lighter? I need to figure out how to keep Lil Squirt happy in his enclosure, he doesn’t seem happy at all. Once he gets bigger, he will go into the big enclosure….I just hate keeping him in this small enclosure all day long, but it’s for his safety.

Please fill out the form below so we will know if there’s something you need to change in his enclosure.

Lil Louie is a dull darker green when he is basking...they say the darker color helps absorb the heat. He really gets bright green when he is free rangeing on a arborcola I have set up for him in the house...and of course when I have him on his hibiscus outside. I bought a used large bird cage and set it up with lots of plants and vines on my patio...but right now he is so small and the plants are so full I can't find him. So for now we sit out and get natural UVB on his little tree under my watchful eye. Where are you from...I live in central Florida.

Oh that is a wonderful idea!!! I know that he does not like being in that little enclosure all day, but I leave my house at 8:00 and usually get home around 5:30. I am going to get him an hibiscus plant this weekend and I will look for a large bird cage so I can set up something for him outside. I know he loves being outside and so does Pickles. Thank you so much for the idea!!! I may get 2 large bird cages and put some sort of border wall in between them, so they won't see each other.

Be careful though...I put clear netting to keep Louie from escaping through the bars and then over 800 zip ties to hold in on cage and so he didn't caught between bars and netting. Fill out the form Jann is talking about because if a change needs to be made she will let you know.
