Ambilobe Panther sex?

Hi all,

I was hoping with the collective experience here, you maybe able to help sex my Ambilobe. I adopted Darwin at around 6 weeks old as a ‘Male’. Darwin is around 8 months old and we are suspecting female, but it’s our first Panther and we can’t really tell from the online diagrams.

Thank you in advance,

Ben

Female 💯
I have a female amilobe and shows similar colours. Her spine will change brown or black-to-gold_to pale green and body will change tan rusty orange-to vivid orange/black tiger striped_ to a spectrum of highlighter pen pack of green/purple/pink which captivates me with awe when they show

Oh yes! I own 27 chameleons and 15 other reptiles/amphibians/inverts lol
Panthers are very easy when they are this age. Very different coloring from male to female. Good luck with her. She is a pretty little lady.

Thank you! I love the purple scales she has behind her eyes. I need to find a good looking male for her now.

Female 100000%

I’d suspect that the locale is correct as many often get the sex wrong when they’re small.

Pretty sure she’s Ambilobe, them and Ambanja are the two most common locales in Canada and she came from a large Canadian distributor
