Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Ambilobe, male, (I am not familiar with his age and was not given his age when I purchased him). I've had him since early June 2017 and he arrived labled as a "juvenile."
Handling - 1 to 2 times weekly
Feeding - The majority of his diet comes from crickets and superworms. Once in a while I'll feed him wax worms and horn worms. I place 5 to 8 crickets in the cage daily with 4 to 5 superworms. I feed him in the morning. Im gut loading with the fluker's calcium blocks and cricket meal feed.
Supplements - I use reptivite 2 times a month and calcium monday, wednesday, and friday.
Watering - I use a mistking mister. Currently, I mist 6 times a day with misting sessions ranging from 1 to 6 minutes. I saw my chameleon drinking today when hand spraying the cage personally.
Fecal Description - The last time i saw his droppings were 2 days ago and they were firm with white watery urates. He's never been tested for parasites.
History - no history that I'm aware of. I would like to say that I was on vacation for 6 days and left him at a friend's house. I took him back to my house and placed him in a bigger cage bc he's getting bigger.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - XL screen reptibreeze, 2x2x4 feet
Lighting - I'm using a linear UVB light (Zoo Med 26061 Reptisun 10.0 T5-Ho Uvb 24W Fluorescent Lamp, 22") and a 65 watt, white, incandescent basking bulb.
Temperature - ambient is 70s; basking spot is 80s-90s, lowest overnight temp is 70ish. I use a digital infrared thermometer temperature gun.
Humidity - Honestly, I haven't hooked up my humidity gage from the old cage...so I cannot answer this question. Will plan on doing this soon enough.
Plants - Yes, ficus, scheffelera, pothos, and dracaena
Placement - my cage is located on a desk at an angle from the vent. the cage is about 2 to 3 feet above the ground.
Location - I live in Dallas, TX

Current Problem - It has only been a day since conan has been home. he's been waddling at the bottom of the cage and he's been more timid and shy (nothing like he was before I left for vacation). Also, his colors are darker than before...like he's not happy. I came back home from hanging out with friends and I was looking to find conan sleeping and I saw him sleeping at the bottom of the cage. This is the first time I've ever seen him do this. Is it too soon to be concerned? I've posted a thread about conan on a chameleon FB group and they said give him some time to get back on track to his regular routine. I've seen him eat 3 superworms and a cricket today. I'd like to add that I saw him try to eat the vines of my pothos plant for the first time today. I haven't seen his poops since 2 days ago...conan has never had daily bowel movements since i've gotten him...and will check after I get home from work at 7 pm tomorrow. I am just worried and want to act quickly if he is ill....I really love my cham and don't want to lose him just yet.

Did he do it at your friends house?
We're things different there...cage in a busier area, more light at night in the room it was kept in, etc??

He was fine at my friend's house..cage was in a busier area...the lights were a little dimmer in friend's room compared to my room.
