Carol, Yes, Ambanja. He originally came from VeiledChams. He was the holdback but his brothers from the same clutch where sold here:

For several months, I tried sending PMs to VeiledChams to buy him, and he said he sent replies, but I never got them. Some sort of bug with CF's messaging system. As a software engineer, this offended me. As a chameleon enthusiast it made be sad because I kept seeing this guy get re-listed in spite of my many messages saying I wanted him and was ready to buy him.
Anyway, another forum member, ChamCapture eventually purchased Double Rainbow from VeiledChams hoping that his bars would turn out more purple in person. There is a thread he created with some pictures from Mid november here: My Ambanja Boy. Within a couple weeks, though, he contacted us in response to a wanted ad I posted for an awesome Ambanja, and shortly after that we *finally* received him.
Per VeiledChams, his sire is from the Thor line at Kaleidoscope Chameleons and his dam came from another forum member, screen name Germ. She may have been CH, if I recall correctly (hopefully VeiledChams or Germ can correct me). If so, that might explain why he looks so unique... but I'd like to believe he's an awesome unique Ambanja.
