Amazing!

So, at lunch time I misted my Regal jumping spiders and noticed that the female had molted. Then, just a few hours later the male molted too! Today has been so exciting and amazing! Here's a pretty poor photo of Bella with her skin alongside her. Now I can't wait for the to turf the skins out from their we hammocks so I can have a good look and take photos! Love my spiddies!

Hang on- 'I love my spiddies'- is this the same person not a few months ago who couldn't bear spiddies??? and now has- cough cough- quite a few!
That's an amazing, so glad you are having so much fun with them, I can't believe how adorable they are. Have you been brave enough to touch one yet- I haven't.
Post a pic of the skin if you get one- I can't get Rosie's -she's buried it in her hammock, It's like a spider nightie.

I held Ethel when I buried her, but I guess that doesn't count as she wasn't mobile! I really hope they chuck their dirty old clothes out for me.

What a funny thought, out with the winter spring wardrobe eh? Here comes summer! Lol
It's so weird all of ours molted within days of each other.

Here's some photos of Bella's molt. This is absolutely fascinating! I thought the molt with the legs attached was the whole thing, then later I found her discarded carapace on the floor of her enclosure, along with a couple of legs, lol!

Yes! If you look closely at the middle pic, you can see the others down the right side. All 8 eyes can be clearly seen, it's just amazing!
