Am I imagining what I saw?

This morning after Randall woke up, I entered his cage to mist everything down, well as I was misting I happen to look at him and he was looking at me, but what caught my attention was (now not sure if I imagined it or it really happened) but I could have swore I seen the inner part of his eye where it's usually a white ring flash red! and I mean a bright red. So was I imagining it or was it real?
