Am i Crazy for doing this?

I have a 75 gallon fresh water tank.
It has 3 silver dollar, a bala shark, some blue gourami, opaline gourami, 1 pink kissing gourami (who is like 3 years old) 3 shibunkin, and a red eared slider.. and a 9 inch pleco.

im nto either, but the shibunkin have some crazy cool black/orange/white/silver/blue/grey calico type patterns.

the grey one is a Bichir! The olive colored one is my reed fish, its in the bichir family. I love them so much, i have a mated pair of senegals, plus an extra in there and one Delhezi Bichir ( grey with black stripes)

tehe. nice.
i dont know alot of fish besides what i have. i need to get some more soon though. got to restock.

Well if you ever need help knowing what goes with what, i'm your man. Alot of the petco and petsmart, and sadly local stores don't know exactly what they have now a days..

blagh i dont buy any animals from petsmart. ive bought crickets, but tahts only when my supply ran out and my shipment hadnt arrived yet. and they only last a day before being fed off or dying.

i had a great fish place i got every one of my fish from, but i moved, and they are now 2.5 hours away.. and sadly,, i have no where local to get good stock anymore.... :(

i found two silver dollars on craiglist so i took them. but i still want to add a few more of something.. just got to figure otu waht and where to find them.

If you can get a mid sized bichir, i would advise it, they are wonderfully intelligent animals and can be very entertaining to watch, they have so much personality too!

He/She'd love a 75 gallon and a regular senegal bichir wouldnt hurt anything that you have. they only reach 1 foot length.

hmmmmm... wonder where i could find one..... that would be really cool.
i want something that is different, but wont eat what i have alreayd.

Bichirs can only eat what they can fit into their mouths. the largest thing mine can eat at 8 " and being atleast 1 1/2 years old is a small comet goldfish.

Plus they prefer things on the bottom to things that swim!

I dont have anything that smallm my smallest fish is my gourami and they are about 3 inches long and fat.

so what do they eat then? if its on the bottom?

I've fed mine everything from steak and chicken to annoying crickets, they'll eat anything they can get in their mouth that has some substance to it.
