yoda really seems to like the lower end of his cage recently and its normally his sleeping area but now he likes to wander around the bottom for long periods at a time, now im not saying the very bottom but its below the middle and he stays going around the same couple branches, what does this mean?? hes healthy and happy and eats and everything but we just think its strange hes been at the bottom lately , any help??

Thats exactly what we thought!! As soon as me and my girlfriend move out in the next year or so we want to breed him with a lady were only 17 right now, yoda is about 4 and half months maybe 5 im not really sure weve had him for about a month now would you like to judge his age?

I have no experience with panthers so I don’t really have a good feel for how fast they grow but go ahead and post some pics. Im sure a more experienced panther keeper will be along soon!

4-5 months is a bit young for those hormone changes to be taking place but every Cham is different. As long as you don’t see any warning signs developing I’d say that’s what it is...

Mine goes everywhere! From the top to the bottom of the cage, in between the plants, the ground as well. He honestly does this 1-2 times everyday and then will be on top basking on his branches and stuff until bedtime. I feel like he does since they are very territorial and probably want to guard their “turf” :)

also, I will be getting a way bigger cage for my Cham. I feel like he might also be looking for more room to walk/move around in.
