turtle for nephew, dog, 2 cats, chameleon, fish, had snakes, had snapping turtles, had a bat, had other lizards, ever since I was allowed outside I was always the animal conisseur.

I would bring home copperheads to mom "she freaked",

picked up over a 100 yr old snapping turtle in missouri,

chased a softshell turtle on a four wheeler cause she was so quick in michigan lol, that was fun.

stopped for every turtle & snake I ever saw on the road.

Just felt the need to share a slice of my passion. :) thanks for looking

I know the feeling.. It started when I ate a big cricket at 4 years old (don't remember but was told that by parents).
8 years old picked up my first bark scorpion
9 years old Tiger salamanders and baby turles
at 10 baby rabbits and Garter snakes. At 13 got into dwarf seahorse and goldfish (different tanks)
At 14 got my first ferret (Skipper) and made an incubatore our of a 5 gl tank with a 25 watt light bulb and hatched ducks and chickens.
16 purchased my first caimen alligator also had gerbils, hampsters, baby snapping turtle, bullfrogs.
Joined the service for 8 years..
Now I have axolotls, albino african clawed frogs, 10 baby red eared sliders (just found in yard 2 weeks ago) 12 seahorses, cuttlefish, chameleons, carnivorous plants, whites tree frogs, pacman frogs, pixie frog, mudpuppies, and a fake blue moon jellyfish.
Over the years had many others too, Opossum, hedgehogs and different types of snakes and lizards.
I FEEL ya with the PASSION.:D

I can relate to that so much! I always caught turtles when I was little and they turned out to be my first reptile as a pet. Now I have 7 Chameleons, 3 Turtles, and 2 Geckos, 3 Scorpions and a Praying Mantis. I'm getting 3 Bearded Dragons, 2 Box Turtles, and possibly a Red Tail Boa and Argentine Tree Boa all for free on Sunday. All come with enclosures. :b ha ha
