They all are white after a molt.

I agree.
Old food, skinny roaches, some even dead. A substrate, especially an edible (and a mold-prone one at that) like oats is not needed.
Maybe the roaches wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't feel comfortable feeding any to my animals.
Shows how little I know about the dubia!!! Been busy with all the other feeders so haven't done my homework on the dubia yet
Yeah I have another colony with out the oats and just have not had time to mess with this one yet,I also need to do my homework and had never even seen a freshly molted one until now
guess I will start doing my homework on these soon !!!

Get rid of old food, no substrate (cant find the babies anyway with it) and add in mealworms to eat decaying matter. I always remove dead roaches. Fresh orange slices every 2 days, alfalfa, seeds (raw), and wet gutloads (veggies) the list goes on for food check out sandra's list.

Did some homework last night and have already done just that! When I first got the Dubia I just put the adults in the tubs and left them alone as I also had lots of nymphs for feeding my chams in another tub. I only removed old food and put in new food and had never even looked under all the egg crate until yesterday. I had not even seen one after a molt until yesterday. That's why I made the dumb
post about albino Dubia!!! LOL at my self I saw lots of nymphs in the tubs while feeding so I just left them alone. I have been working on my crickets,silks,mealworms,superworms and hornworms so I had not made the time to do my homework until now. Thanks for pointing out the problems as it got me moving and I have done a lot of reading on the subject now and plan on even upgrading there tubs in the future based on some other threads I have been reading! All my other feeders are doing very well now so I will put the effort into the Dubia that I put into the others and as I tend to go overboard at times I'm sure I will post some pictures showing the results down the road. Again thanks for the comments as if I had not seen them my Dubia would not be up to par and with some new chams coming I will be needing lots of them
