aid in shedding?

so i have a female veiled thatt i rescued and she has severe mbd but is recovering. well i was wondering if there was any way i can aid in her shedding since she is shedding on the back of her body but hasnt lost ay skin in the same place for at least 4 to 5 days. she has trouble walking around and cant really rub herself on the foliage to get that dead skin off.

I would suggest misting with warm water. (Hope this doesn't freak her out!) Due to the situation, (I normally wouldn't suggest this) I would try to help her along a little at a time by GENTLY tugging on a piece of loose skin just to see if it will release. Don't go overboard. Just a little at a time and this should help. You may want to reach out to one of the vets on the forum to see if they agree with this, but leaving the skin on could cause other problems.

The skin should be very loose. It will almost fall off on its own when ready. You should not try to peel the skin off. I would continue misting if that is the case.
