Ah spring... L'Amour

She is backwards in her hole laying her eggs NOW!!! She took me by surprise a little, I was anticipating next week, but knew it could be anytime this week or next. She never quit eating or was restless. She never checked out the laying bin or dug test holes. She dug one hole and is doing her thing. Good girl!! Between the last time I checked her today and when I found her backwards in the hole was only about 2 hours! :D:D:D

There is just a little bit of excitement at my house right now! lol My 8 year old daughter is running around screaming "I'm having babies!" hahahaha

Those are some good looking eggs. Glad everything went so smooth and quick. Could you send Tuffy a email on how it should be done?:(

Thanks Laurie, I'll tell Calypso to send Tuffy some info tomorrow. ;) It was so fast, only a couple of hours. She spent the most time covering them up. She didn't even look tired afterwards!

Congrats Heather! I know how worried you were! but hey we all get worried when this happens. And when its done..we are happy.

Congrats and keep us updated on the eggs

That pic was very tastefully done, didn't show from the waist down. He looks like he's rubbing her back, what a gentleman. No pics of them smokeing a cigarette? Good luck with the eggs.

Congrats Heather! Glad to hear that Calypso did so well. You are so lucky!!! Wish Camille did that well. She's so weak when it's over.....after spending close to two days working in the laying bin, she doesn't even have the strength to pull herself back up on the branch. I'll never breed again and trying my best to keep her from ever laying eggs again. You might want to have Calypso send a copy of Tuffy's info to Camille also. :)

I hope that all goes well with the eggs.

Thanks everyone!

Jann, I will tell Calypso to forward the same info to Camille. She's in there eating now, doesn't like like a thing happened! It was so funny around here last night. While digging the eggs up, my daughter is dripping sweat and holding her heart! When we found them, she said" Thank goodness! My heart couldn't take anymore!" LOL
