Age to mate?

At what age male panthers are ready to mate? After the year or can it be sooner?

i woulnt breed a male before 1 year old, or a female before 1.5

they may be capable of mating around 8 months. I prefer to wait until after they are a year old. And I've found the best clutches came from older males, over 4 years. Perhaps the females find them more to their liking, or perhaps they just a bigger reserve/stamina for longer potent mating.

Thanks both, im asking because my male of 10 month do a lot of bobbing when close to the females but once the females get closer he walks away.
