advise needed about my new cham

well hes 4 months old on 28th march.although hes only 3 inches long with tale.

now i know his basking area shud be around 80-83 at this age but will his size make a difference? i mean should it be kept lower because hes smaller.whats your thoughts??
 
this is the temp chart on the panther caresheet in the chameleon care resources :)

Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): ambient 72-80F (22-26C), basking 82F (28C)
Adult males: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 85-90F (29-32C)
Adult females: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 80-85F (26-29C)
 
yeah he was born on 28th november.although hes small hes very healthy tho and lively.hes so docile and loves people.
thats cool i thought i would be ok but no harm in double checking.
