Advice on Chameleon types?

I really like Panthers, I think they look great and have great colors. I know chams in general are solitary, but I really want two, or three even. And without needing a room sized enclosure, lol.
I looked at pygmies, but hate fruit flies, so basically ruled them out.
Just wondering why I couldn't have a male/female panther pain in a single cage?

Or is there a type that might be more what I am looking for?

Also how do these animals ship? They seem very fragile to be shipped. I can only find veiled locally at pet stores, and I am not a fan of buying anything at pet stores.
I am in Alberta, Canada, if anyone has a breeder they would recommend.

No matter how much we would like it, chams just don't share space well. They are solitary as you know, but in the wild they can get away from each other when they need to. In a cage there is no way to do this, so the stress is constant. the male will keep pestering the female whether she is willing to breed or not. That's torture. You can't "explain" to them why sharing space is possible. You can't change their basic behaviors.

Occasionally a pair of chams of the same gender do end up being compatible but you can't count on it, and even if you are lucky enough, the space the pair would be comfortable in is probably going to be pretty large anyway. One thing to consider is to build a large cage framework across one wall of a room and subdivide it into separate living spaces. Put opaque panels between them. This way they all have the view of the room, but not of each other. When you think about it this way, you will need the same basic space, but are just arranging the cages in a row. The good thing about this is that you can often arrange shared lighting and misting systems for the row more easily.

Shipping is possible, though I can't help you with this for CA. There are other forum members in CA so they could probably give you recommendations.

Now what about Trioceros sternfeldi they are more the social chameleon I have read they actually like to be in colonies in large enclosures of 2 females to one male and acually seek each other out in the evening to sleep together?
