Advice needed: Hybrid Bioactive Enclosure

Hi, I’ve got a 2x2x4 V3 Dubiaroach enclosure. I need some advice on ventilation mods. I’m looking for a Panther chameleon tho maybe a Jackson’s

The enclosure has 3 PVC walls and a glass front with a Plexi glass lower 10” substrate barrier. My plan is to mod/cut the PVC panels to add in screen, similar to dragon stands “chimney” effect. I’m not sure where to cut ventilation sections out of the PVC or how much. Thoughts?

I tend to look for the easiest ways to do things, which are not always the best or the prettiest. So, take that into consideration. I’m sure others may be able to offer a much better solution.
The chimney effect as I understand it, needs air flow coming from a lower aspect. Using a relatively small to medium size drill bit, I would drill out some ventilation holes a few inches above where I would have the top of my substrate. Or to prevent my isopods from escaping (as they like to do), I’d perhaps look for and buy some sort of ventilation insert and then drill or cut out the needed area to insert it.
The issue I would have with adding screen is that it needs either a track to spline it in securely or some other way to attach it, like heavy duty staples, which I don’t know how well that would work with PVC.
There are things like this https://www.amazon.com/Calvana-Soff...7587&sprefix=reptile+vent,aps,275&sr=8-8&th=1 or this https://www.amazon.com/Circular-Scr...14-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&psc=1 that may work.

You’re awesome. Thanks for worshipping this with me. What about cutting a 1x1 ft area above substrate and then gorilla gluing a durable screen?
