At what age does a cham become an Adult?

for panther and veileds, they can be considered an adult at about a year old, but they dont stop growing until almost 2 years old.l

Most species become sexually mature and begin to reproduce at 4-6 months old in nature (perhaps slightly older for males), though a few large species can take considerably longer (e.g., C. parsonii). However, the animals might only be half of their maximum size at this age. Many chameleons have fairly short natural lifespans though. For instance, female Panthers (F. pardalis) almost never exceed 2 yrs in nature, and males almost never exeed 3 yrs. However, many species seem to be able to attain much longer lifespans than natural in captivity by avoiding reproduction in females (though some will still produce infertile eggs, necessitating laying sites).
