Adult locusts

So while I was on holiday, half my locusts became adult. They are huge, can I feed them to 6 month old veiled male? The not more than the width of his eyes but they're very long.

If they have wings I would not leave any in with him at night as they will def bite. He will probably enjoy them and they are quite soft immediately after they become wingers.

My Tommy used to love them! They were ok for him, but I never risked my female with any that were really big. I know about the width rule for feeders but not sure about the length. As already said, they DO bite - I have been bitten by an extra large one (stage before adult) and it left red marks on my finger! If you remove the jumping legs they would probably be better - the barbs get really big and sharp!

I tried them out on my hedgehog lol he loved them but left the wings and legs, which almost certainly means Neelix won't like those bits either.

On the theme of grossness my silkies have grown huge and when Popeye chomps on them all the juice squirts all over the place. Had to wash the glass door today.LOL:D

where do you get your silkworms, by the way? I'm having trouble finding a website that has them in stock!
