Adult Cage

I was just curious, what age or size should I move my juvenile panther chameleon to an adult size cage? Right now hes in a 30x15x15 inches and I would like his final set up to be a 48x24x24 inches

That is fine.

I would say an adult cage 48 high would be fine at around 6 months.

6 months give or take. They sometimes want something larger a little sooner. The cham will let you know. When they want something larger they usually start paceing the cage and pawing at the walls.

I beleive I'm going to order from lllreptile because they have black frames, and I've notice Ernie doesent like change at all! He will literally pout and I worry the silver frame might upset him!

Good move on LLL, nothing wrong with DIY caages (I have two XL), it's just personally I find the latches rather annoying, and the lll cage has slightly thicker PVC (looks the same to me, but people say LLL's is thicker). LLL also sells 2'2'4' reptibreeze name brand for a good price, as well, but their $79 cage is virtually identical for $30 less.

Yes 24x24x48 will be fine and good move on choosing LLLreptile make sure when you get the cage set up we can see pics heheh
