Hey, I just picked up 5 cocoons of these guys. Figured it would be a cool project to work on, and a neat feeder . Anyone else have experience with these. I was thinking about using maple as a host for the larvae, anyone else use this? What set-up do you keep them in? Anything is appreciated

For anyone who was interested, as far as caging goes I found an old reptarium lying around so I decided to use that for adults. The adults do not feed and only live about 10 days so they really only need room to breed.

Yes they do. I have been talking to other saturniid keepers trying to figure out if those hairs on the larvae would cause irritation, can't tell them my plan ofcourse . That would make it even better!
