Yeah, I was reading a few other people had the same thing happen too lol.Keep an eye on him. Its totally possible since at that age they can grow quite fast.
My boy is about the same age as yours. Sometime he will shed 3 times in a row, other times he will go a month or so without shedding.Soooo, my lil guy had a shed like 9 days ago ish, and he's starting to stretch and yawn again! Just like he did before his first shed with me! I know they shed often since he's 5 months old but, would that be normal??
Yup! Perfect good thing another person’s cham does the same. but yeah! I have been keeping to humidity up to help with the shed and also giving him slightly warm showers aka barely warm water lol!My boy is about the same age as yours. If he looks like he’s about to shed again, make sure you’re keeping the humidity nice and swell and maybe even put him in the shower. Put the shower head facing the wall and hold him in the shower where the droplets will hit him. My cham can go from being pissed off and hating the world to the happiest animal I have ever seen just by doing this.
That’s great then! Yeah I wouldn’t worry. They could do that until they are almost a year and a half. You sound like you’re covering all spots well for making the shed as easy as possible, so i wouldn’t worry!Yup! Perfect good thing another person’s cham does the same. but yeah! Haha okay perfect! That’s probably as close as I can get to helping him shed lol I’ve seen people just peel it off of then AH so terrible I couldn’t probably hurts themThat’s great then! Definitely, thank you for the info! I'll for sure do all of thatYeah, never peel off shedding skin. Even if it doesn't hurt them, it could cause damage to the fresh scales underneath. Best thing to do anytime your cham is shedding is to increase misting durations which will help keep the ambient humidity slightly higher than usual. Only time I intervene is if a piece is stuck and showering isnt helping. I'll moisten the stuck shed with warm water and gently try to rub it off. Usually the direct warm water loosens it up enough.
