so over the past couple of days my female veiled, blue, has been having very very small poops. i have offered her a variety of different bugs (crickets, roaches, superworms, hornworms) and she does eat very much. in another thread i learned that she is showing receptive colors and she may be ready to lay some eggs. is this small of poop healthy? is she going to be laying eggs? (she has been restless and very active) i do have a laying bin in her cage. i was wondering if having poops about the size of a leopard geckos poop is normal considering she is about 6-7 months old. she used to have regular sized poops but just recently she has been acting strange.

Small stool usually means an animal is not eating. Sometimes it means they are dehydrated. Figure out which it is. As I mentioned to you in another thread, your lay box is not conducive for encouraging her to lay. If she has nowhere she feels comfortable to lay, she will likely become eggbound which will kill her without medical intervention.

Her poor appetite could be illness. Most chameleons cut their food intake just before laying.
