A weird day

Okay guys, first off today in the morning was pretty cold when i went to check up on my chams which i keep outside. I went to feed one of them and when i put his favorite superworm in front of him in the air (I was holding it with pinsers) he didn't show interest. When i put him it on the screen, he shot at it about 3 times. He hit the third time but nothing happened. The fourth time, he caught it and bit down on it with such force that half of the body fell on the ground. He was a bit dark in the morning as usual so i checked around his cage and i found a small spiderweb with the spider no where to be found. I freaked so i destroyed the web and brought my cham inside the house for like 4 hours. He became lighter and grew a little more active as he LOVES to be held and played with. When i put him back in his cage i waited about 20 minutes before offering him food. (I tried offering a dragonfly to him when he was inside but he didn't take it.) I put crickets in his cage and he didn't eat a single one nor the dragonfly. He got a little darker shade of green in his cage. Everytime i opened the door to offer the dragonfly. He kept reaching out towards my hand and completly ignoring the food. He was more interested in getting out of his cage then eating. Could this be because i handled him to much or because i gave him a HUGE meal on sunday and 3 supers on sunday and a couple yesterday. He had an okay grip today and no matter where he was, he would reach out towards me so he can chill with me. What should i do.

Also what happened today was that another of my chameleons got their legs stuck in a huge screen hole and luckily i came soon probably not even 5minutes after it happened. I took this little guy inside, he however doesn't like to be handled as much as the other one. The damage was a very tiny piece of skin kind of like a shed came of and the end of his foot had a little black on it because the of the low blook circulation. He however has a great grip and didn't bleed at all. Today was a VERY stressful day.

What kind of chameleon ?
What age, how old ?
What sex ?
What time of day has the sun been poking through the overcast ?

If your chameleon is a adult ________ chameleon, he or she might not need to eat everyday. If the chameleon is a female, she might be getting ready to lay egg, and stop feeding in the days leading up to it.
More than likely your _______ _______ has undigested food inside, with the cooler weather we have been having, and needs to burn off that food first, before eating again. Does your chameleon get a good dose of warm sunlight everyday? Does it bask in the sun, or hang in the shade. Your post creates more questions, than a simple answer to your question.

Mine is an adult panther ambilobe male. The one in the first story is about a year and 3 months. I have heard that he should be in the shade for the whole day and only small strips of sunlight can get to him. I live in the valley so the weather heats up at about 11:00am. The most it has gotten was probably a little less than 80 degrees farengheit. He is however really healthy and his eyes are huge and he is dehydrated. I accedentally overfed him on saturday. i gave him 5 supers and about 12 crickets and a baby preying mantis. On sunday and monday i gave him about 3 supers each day.

Most of the time he is basking and sometimes he goes down to cool down. I was told never to put them under direct sun light

O, your in the Valley. Whole new set of rules. Yes, it can get quite hot in the Valley. I thought you were in the Beverly Hills area for some reason. And it's been overcast for much of the day today. I can look out my work window in downtown Los Angeles and see that just pass Beverly Hills, it's foggy at the beach in Santa Monica. Sould be cool/damp at the SBCK Chameleon meeting tonight.
If your chameleon is in good shape, I'd skip a day or two of feeding, every so often. Also if your chameleon has'nt eaten a dragonfly before, it might not recognize it as a food item.
