Curious!

Sorry, I have to ask what is the name of that spider, if it is a spider? Looks very cool, definitely something I have not seen before!

haha wow a blue baby tarantula

what are their adult size, colr, and whats their care???

Avicularia versicolor - Martinique Pink-Toe

is this the proper name? what does sling mean?

says easily handible of the species, says they "poo" directionally with force as a defense mechanism, very fast and can jump, 75 degrees with 70% humidity???, mild venom--does all of this sound correct?

If they eat something I already have, I would be very interested, do they eat anything bigger than pinheads or what else is their diet?

I want one. I've lost it. .___.

Oh yeah... :D Love it when I help people realize how beautiful spiders are. :)

They are baby blue right after they molt and in a couple of days darken up a bit to a darker blue. :)

They can get up to 5 inches, during their growth they begin to gain purples, pinks, blues, and a pretty green carapace. They are an arboreal species that requires high humidity while also needing lots of ventilation, peice of cork bark or plant so that they have something to connect their web to, and eat once a week. 75 degrees and 70 to 80 percent humidity. :)

Yes that is the right tarantula and sling is short for spiderling (baby spider).

Yes they can be handled but tend to be a bit skittish and if they feel threatened they shoot their poop as a defense mechanism, it's pretty cool to watch but not fun if it happens to you, lol! The other info. is also correct.

They can also eat fruit flies or baby lobster roaches, pretty much anything small enough for them to eat. Once you see how small they are you will be able to determine how small their prey needs to be.

Also, if local i'm willing to do trades... Just let me know what you have and I will consider it! :D

Edit: I couldn't add anymore responses so Ryan, you are getting a free sling. PM me your info and i'll send the little guy or girl right over. :)

For those of you who are interested in one or more slings please PM me your full name address, phone number, and amount of slings you would like. My internet was down for a few days but it's back. Please let me know for sure, the weather has been great for the past week. Only thing that would delay shipping is if the weather gets hot again. Taking money only (or other methods that don't need me to have a bank account, I don't have one). Slings will not be shipped until payment has been recieved. :)

A few people interested but no sales yet... The money will be going toward an ipod but if anyone has a new or semi-new ipod touch or ipod nano touch they are willing to trade for some slings, please PM me and we can work something out. :) Maybe they are seeked after more in your area than here? Or make me wholesale offers! I have 60 available, keeping others for people who still might be interested in just one or a coule. :)
