A quick question!

I was just wondering when a female yemen shows gravid or receptive colours are all the sploges of colur always in the same place? Like do all the yellow areas stay in the exact same place each time the female is gravid? I no longer have a female yemen so cannot see myself! has anyone else had any observations on this?

I have never checked for sure to be certain they are in the same location, but my girls looked the same each time I looked, so I will guess on yes they do stay the same.

I think once they get adult patterning it stays with them for life. Amy is particularly stunning right now - I think she is near to laying her second clutch and she is bright lime green with very pretty dark spots! But yes, her splodges are always in the same place, but not always the same colour!
