Hey guys! i was just wondering if this means My little girl is about to lay her clutch, she has been roaming around her cage and she is looking pretty stressed out, she has been pretty dark the last few days but she is also looking pretty thick!
i am feeding her about 15 crickets a day and 5-6 Superworms, Temp in the habitat it around 70 on the ground to around 80-85 at her basking spot, it is about 82% humidity give or take a few %, i am dusting the crickets with Reptivite multivitamins every day and twice a month calcium with d3
what do you think?

How old is she? (she seems to be eating quite a bit) has she been bred?

she is about 4 1/2 - 5 months old and no, im not breeding her, i actually ordered a male and they gave me a female! but none the less, we love her and i want to be able to help her with this as much as possible c:

Oh, the same thing happened with my first chameleon :) she is still young so not eating too much :) they can lay as early as 5 or 6 months signs are crawling all around the cage (restless) a lot of times but not always start to lose appetite, may get territorial and grumpy ( I know I did when I was preggo lol) I like to put a bin in to be safe :)

oh okay awesome! :) thanks very much! im going to be moving her into the big cage REALLY soon, she has been in the small cage for a while and doesnt seem to mind it much but i want to get her in the big one, just because she needs more places to roam! :D and i can put a laying bin in there much easier, so she can lay her clutch if need be :D!!! her small cage is full pretty much so i wont really have a spot to put a bin until i am able to hold her (which is once a week if im lucky!!! she always runs away from me D: any tips on how to get ahold of her a bit more???)

Try using a stick to crawl onto, I find that once they are out os the cage they are less territorial, and nicer :) or have a plant for her to come out of her cage onto. Hand feeding is a great way to bond

Suzi has good techniques. I think she or one of the other members also said to use a silk worm or something else to lure her out onto your hand. The video contest has a step by step video showing you how to do that.

I dont think you should be dusting with multivitamins daily, multivitamins and calcium with d3 should be used only twice a month. while calcium without d3 can be used daily or every other day. does anyone else agree?

h okay thanks :D ill definitely try that!! :D
oh and the reason im doing the multi vits every day is because i have no calcium without d3 so i thought, vitamins are better than nothing right?

Wrong. Over supplementing can lead to gout and other problems.

If you can't find calcium without D3, get "cuttlebones" for birds and grind them up in a blender, food processor or coffee grinder.
