A question about cricket breeding

So I am breeding crickets in a small enclosure so that I don't have to shell out ten bucks per month on crickets. I have only had this batch of crickets for a few days now, but I am wondering: After waiting seven days for the crickets to lay in my little tray of soil, do I need to incubate the tray? Or can I just put it in a separate bin, with maybe a heat lamp?

As long as you can keep a constant temp of 90 degrees and the bin real moist, no need to incubate. I always incubated though.
