Looks good, is the light right up against the screen? and if so how hot is it directly under the screen.

It is right against the cage, but the screen saggs a bit there. It's about 82 in that area. I have a clamp... Would it be better if I use the clamp rather then having it sit on the cage?

It would only be a concern if it was too hot but your temps sound fine. I asked because if it was too hot your chameleon could burn its self.

You're going to need some big crickets or your significant other will have to loke them as free range pets also as those bars are widely spaced

The cage is lined on the inside with screen.... So unless the crickets are the size of a fruit fly I won't have any issues lol
