A good vet was recommended to me in Yorba Linda, CA... But I was wondering if anyone knew of an experienced Chameleon Vet somewhere near Temecula, Escondido, Oceanside areas of California...

Thanks!

Here are two excellent vets if you are close to the LA area.
Dr. Tom Greek

Dr. Geoff Stein
(Dr. Shipp's Animal Hospital)

Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Jann beat me to it, darn! They are very good vets, and worth the trip if they aren't too close.

In my opinion, if you don't mind going a bit past Escondido on the 15, Dr. Tom Boyer in Rancho Penasquitos is one of the best. He can tell you about performing blood transfusions on a couple of CBB Parson's chameleons, among many other experiences.

Howdy Renae,

Here's this forum's set of links to finding reptile vets: https://www.chameleonforums.com/veterinarian-resources-67/

I took a peek at one of them (http://www.herpvetconnection.com/calif.shtml) and a search didn't have anything pop-up for your prefered cities . If you want to go south rather than north to Dr. Greek then try:

Thomas H. Boyer, DVM
Pet Hospital of Penasquitos
9888 Carmel Mt. Road, Suite F
San Diego, CA 92129
Tel: (858) 484-3490
Fax: (858) 484-3499
