A few questions

I just it my first chameleon. It's an ambilobe panther. I have around 20 other repiles but this is my first time with chameloens. Right now it's 10 months old. About how many crickets should I feed it at a time? And should I feed daily or is it old enough for every other day?

I use repashy for all my other lizards. Can I use this I supplement the Cham?

I got the whole setup with the cham. The mister that came with it was set to go off every 3 hours for 45 seconds. Is this enough for humidity/drinking?

Can I put the crickets in a tall deli cup or do they have to be free roaming?

The setup came with a ficus, UVB tube light, heat light, vines, a dish for worms. It's a mesh tank that's 30 inch by 30 inch and 4 feet tall.

I personally have no experience with panthers, but I think that at that age, he should eat as much as he likes.
Repashy all in one, right? Many people on the forums use repashy every day for panthers
I think that chameleons need a little more time to enjoy their misting time. I would turn the mister to at least 2-3 minutes every 3 hours because they need more time to notice the water.
The crickets don't have to be roaming. It depends on a few things: if the cage design is not suitable for roaming crickets because they escape, or if the chameleon is not eating every one. A lot of people use a feeding cup, but if you can free roam them, it would be good exercise for the chameleon
I would take out the heated vines. That's not a natural thing. The chameleon could get burnt.
Is the uvb 5.0? That's the one you want. Some people use 10.0, but others claim it is too strong.
I hope I helped a little. Welcome :)

you can feed everyday about 8-10 feeders a day. I went to every other day at about 12 -13 months. Feed something else besides crickets such as silkworms, hornworms, butterworms, etc. What kind of temps are you getting at your basking temp and overall cage temp. i think the other member got confused cause you did not use a comma in between heat light and vines. I am assuming you do not have heated vines!? Be sure and feed your crickets well with fresh fruits and vegetables.

The repashy I use with my other lizards is calcium plus ICB. Is that ok or do I need a different type?

And there are no heated vines. I just forgot a comma.

Basking temp is getting around 90. The rest is just room temp my place usually fluctuates in the 70-80 range. And night how cold would be too cold for them? I got mixed temps when reading online. Some say not below mid 60's, a couple said mid 50's, some said around 70.

Welcome to the forum :)
I'd recommend the mister on 3 times a day for 2-3 minutes (that depends on cage type/size) and needs at least an hr before bed to dry out. A damp cage at night can cause respritory problems. Lights should be 12hr on 12hr off. Uvb 5.0 linear light and basking light, for a 10 month old I'd recommend 88-90 basking spot for a malr and 80-83 for female (reduces egg clutch size if shes not breeding). The cage should have gradually lower temps torwards the bottom. Nothing at night, they can handle down to 50 degrees but mid sixties is preferd.

Crickets should be fed in the morning about 7-10 every other day. With treats given now and again :) they like variety :)

Supplementing can go two ways commonly.. 3 supplements.. or one.
Three being
Plain calcium with NO d3 mostly every feeding.
Calcium with d3 2 times a month.
And a multivitamin with vit A twice a month.

Or repashy calcium plus every feeding and nothing more

this is not complete. Just the basics :) read around ask questions. Pictures of setup cham are always welcome in this thread or the general photography section :)

you can bask the male adult panthers at 95 degrees or so. They can take those temps easily. I have two of them.

So they don't need the water turned on at night? I read that on a couple sites too. It doesn't matter that there won't be any humidity then?

Thanks for all the help everyone. I'll get some photos up as soon as I can too.

No water at night. Respritory problems possibility out weights lack of humidity.

This member is definatly someone to listen to about panthers! :) thanks for the basking correction ;)

no problem I just follow guidelines from Kammerflage Kreations who has been in the business of panthers forever and definitely know what they are doing.

So the last couple days I noticed that when I trying to keep my house cooler by opening windows, or sometimes it's just in the cooler side because it isn't hot outside, like today. I find the basking spot is fine but the rest of the enclosure is just sitting around 70. What can I do to warm it up a little more? Do I just add more heat lamps? Would u still just place them around the top or lower down the enclosure? He tends to just sit more on his basking spot when it is like this.
