A few questions

in February I bought a baby female veiled chameleon. She is about 4 months now and she is very little. I noticed sometimes she walks at the floor but when I get closer she runs back to the top. I'm pretty sure she is way too young to lay eggs but at what age should she start? And how do I set up a egg laying bin? And also I have noticed something about my male. I hear him breath very loudly but that is only when I spray him. I was just wondering if that's normal when you spray them.

Your male is probably hissing at you if so that is normal. Your female should start to lay eggs when she reaches sexual maturity and around 6 months. I would put in a laying ben at around 5 months to be safe. here is a video on how it is done.

My male never hisses, he is actually very friendly. Every time I go near the tank he scratches it to come out. But I understand him not wanting to get wet
