I thought I'd share some of the pics I took at the NE expo this past weekend. I definitely noticed a lot more chams at this show compared to the previous one.

This is a nice looking flapneck cham at LLL:

a baby Nosy Be being purchased by someone:

A good example of the worst way to display chameleons, imo:

and a really nice jungle carpet python:

Wow that looked like a good show. I agree with you about the chams in the cups. That doesnt seem right at all. They were probley so stressed out.

But it seemed to be a good variety to choose from.

I also went to the NE show and it was really great this year. I saw the Cup-O-Chams and definitely wasn't impressed at all! But there were some beautiful reptiles there.

Looked like a great show:cool:

but the cup-o-chameleon....made me :(

I am 100% with you. Was my first thought upon viewing. But you saying "cup-o-chameleon" made me the giggliest i think I have been in a few days. For some reason, the words just make me laugh. But in all honesty, I'm not too enthused about the cups : /

That chameleon is the one I just purchased at that expo! The turqoise veiled
toward the top. I agree with all of you about the cups. Even though I am new to chams,I knew that it could get really sick in their, and my better judgement to not get a sick reptile was overtaken by the sight of that poor little girl just not giving up. Shes doing much better now.
