95f, basking temp for 2 month old panther?

Ok thanks ,so can u give me a idea where this feeder cup place in ur cage? And could u show me the promist water shooting direction coming from to hitting the feeder cup??

The feeder cup is on the side of the cage. The promist is on the top, the promist covers the whole cage with mist. Even the screen gets soaked from the promist.

I made a new feeder cup for the small prey. I made it from a 2 18650 waterproof box, and some steel mesh I had for my gennies.

The other "screen" I have is too large of holes these itsy bitsy superworms that just arrived would fall right through lol.

Also just got my mulberry shipment. Some small butters (may still be too fat) tiny tiny supers and some Silk eggs.

I was going to tell u on ur older feeder cup ,here is a pic below for simple method ,just make sure the gap in between are good enough for the tiny chamy to get in the "temporary cover" since u already made a new feeder cup,we can scratch this idea.

And the benefits for the feeder cup is the water will splash off the top cup and ur tiny little feeder wont even get rain on,especially when u lightly dust ur calcium on them.

I tried that for the crix, with the cricket cup idea. He didn't seem to like that idea or the crickets.

The cup I just made seems to let the water out, so I put a ton of tiny supers in there and some gutload stuff. I put that in the cage and thats it. I am not going in it for the rest of the weekend. Sunday night after he is asleep I will take the cup out. The supers have food, there will be moisture and high temps. They should be able to live in the cup. I put about 40 in there (there is alot lol). so that should be enough food for a day or 2 once he decides to eat.

There really isnt anything more I can do. Do you think that is the best idea KapitalJ?

Well I tried only putting a few and he didnt go for that. Plus we think its stress, so I want to have enough to where he will have a good supply.

they are tiny too, I put a few FF in there, these things are thinner then the FF. they are maybe a tad over a 1/4inch ranging to a tad under a half inch long. These are babies. He could probably eat 40 in 1 sitting lol.

I guess its more like 30,

I took this setup and doubled the worms. splashed in some FF that were quickly booking it out.

It seems like u already made ur mind,keep on trying until u finding the solution for ur cham,just leave him be ,if everything goes right,he shall start eating on his own.

Feeder cup - I put holes in the bottom of all my feeder cups to allow any water to drain out.

Success :).

So I took that pic of the worms I put, right. then I put in some more (not sure how many maybe 5-10 more.) and some FF like I said.

Well last night long after he was asleep I pulled the feeder cup out. I did it to add some more worm food and check on the worms. there was 14 in there :), there was 13 in the pic before I added more.

However I did find one in the water afterwords. So I though they may have gotten out :(. Just went to check his temps, and his mister was on. So I figured I would look in from the side and see if the cup was being soaked.

So what do I see :) he is on the vine above the cup chowing down on a super worm :).

This is great and kind of bad. the superworms are way smaller than other feeders worm wise, I have tried. (aside from the mealworms he had ate before, which they were smaller than them as well)

So now I do not know was it stress? Was it a worm addiction? Accompanied with the fact the other worms were too large. I also let the temps get higher yesterday, as I know everyone says 80, but he seems to prefer it at 85 basking. so I am going to just getting him with all those in tact and some food in him then figure out what was wrong.

I am going to give him the worms only for a few days. And leave the drape up for another day. Make sure he gets lots of food and chill time. try to get these silkies hatched asap. However I am despite my better judgement (as I know he needs vary) give him gutloaded supers for a bit. He is eating them and I dont want to force a switch when he hasn't eaten. I want to get a little weight on him before the starving him off worms.
