I just put a laying bin in with her to day as she was going to the bottom of her cage which she has never done before. She did eat yesterday. She has never been bred as she is only nine months. I have done what Brad has on his website to keep her from laying however she is in the laying bin

The 'Kitty' way may prevent them from laying or limit the clutch size. I'm not sure if she could lay that young, but I suppose she could. She does look receptive, maybe she's looking for a male. Lily used to roam her cage too when she was receptive. Lily didn't lay her first clutch until she was 14 months old.

I just posted another thread today and then put the laying bin in and now she is digging. The other thread is unreceptive girls. I'm not sure what she is doing she is a strange girl.

I had one of my Veiled babies lay infertile eggs at 6 months-so yes they can lay that young. I put a laying bin in every females cage at 5 months-better safe than sorry.

Thank you Julirs! I thought I was going crazy she is such a crabby little girl I can not even handle her. She doesn't look like she has eggs to me but I guess you never know.

Even if you are keeping the temps cooler and only feeding small amounts every 2 to 3 day IF the female sees the male it can still cause her to lay eggs.

wow just seeing the male will do it? Than that is what happend. I just moved the girls to the back room and she seen her brother.

Update!

Cammy is doing well she has had her post laying shower a couple of supers and about 12 crickets all dusted with calcium w/o d3.
Guess how many eggs.

You were only 9 off.:D She looks a little bruised though:( she started the hole at one end of the bucket and dug a tunnel to the other side around the edge at the bottom of the bucket and laid the eggs there. I do feel better now thats it's over.:)
